Beach again

I told her we should go to the beach one of these days and she called me up this morning whether we could go today. I agreed as it was the only sunny day of the whole week.
So I picked her up around 7 p.m. and we drove over there.
She looked stunning. Once we got there we laid on the beach for a few minutes. All I could think of was her.
Her hands, her hair, her eyes her smile, her voice.
And contemplating whether or not to kiss her I realised how lucky I am to be with her.
As she lay next to me on I couldn't take my eyes of her.
How I do resist the temptation to tell her what I feel, I'll never know!
We went on kiting afterwards and I was able to show her one or two moves an she was happy.

By the time sun had set, we headed back towards home. Halfway I stopped and went to a gas station along the road and got us some Ben& Jerries. I knew she'd love that.
And she did.
Then I brought her home and said goodbye.

I know

We said our goodbyes.
I know she wants me back but I have to be strong. I can't let her win. If I do that then I'll be the one who will be hurt. I cannot allow her to do that to me.
It's time she took responsibillity for her actions instead of wallowing all the time.
Let her come to me and apologize. Then we'll talk. Maybe.
