Stay here forever

We were lying on the warm sandy beach, the faint sound of kids playing in the distance, sun shining down on us.

"I could stay here forever," she says out loud.

I turned my head to squint at her against the sun. "Me, too," I said, and smiled at her.

My biggest fear is to remember this, some day, all alone!!
